BGB Bags Donations for Why Not Prosper, Inc.

When BGB Babe Heather brought the organization Why Not Prosper Inc. to the group’s attention, the Babes decided to host a donation supply drive to benefit the women at the re-entry program. For one month, the Babes promoted online to fundraised over $600 and physical donations. With those funds, the Founder and Co-Founder made shopping trips to purchase enough personal items for each of the 15 women currently living at the house. As a bonding activity, each Babe met at Tiffany’s apartment and assembled personal care bags for each woman at Why Not Prosper, full of soap, lotion, shampoo, body wash, toothbrush kits, deodorant, 2 pairs of socks, perfume, washcloth + loofah, and feminine hygiene products.  

Additionally, we collected over 20 coats and incidental hygiene products to leave Why Not Prosper for future women joining the facility and to add to the organization’s stock pile. We couldn’t have done this without the support of our family and friends so from the Babes of BGB to you, Happy Holidays!
